Welcome to the ABC Creative Music support website.
Here you should be able to find answers to questions you have about using ABC resources.
The site has several sections:
Searchable Knowledgebase & FAQ (frequently asked questions) you can browse questions in our searchable knowledge base here. Type in keywords.
TroubleShooting: If you have a specific problem try looking here first.
AbcTutorials : Text, Video, or Audio tutorials on general issues and skills or specific activities from specific packs
DownloadsPage: Here you can download handouts, planning/observation sheets and find all the additional online material supporting each Journey in your resource
ABC User Forum : post your own questions, experiences, or views..........and view or feedback on those of others.
ABC Content Team Section - this section is for ABC developers only.
This website is a Wikipedia so this home page is called WikiHome. You will always find a link to this at the top of any page. It is in Phase 1 so much more material will be coming up over the next few months.
To go beyond this page you will need a user name and password. If you have a registered ABC Creative Music pack the user name will be 'abc' (orkney users use abc-ork) and the password will be featured in the intro section of the pack. If you don't have a password but have a pack please phone this number (0131 653 0800) during office hours or email david@applebananacarrot.com with the name and version number of your pack, your name and your school name , and your pack number if present (should be inside back cover) and we will send you a password as soon as possible.
This support site is a Wikipedia so you if you have a password you can add your own comments to pages by clicking on the 'email this page' link or the add comment' button at the bottom of each page. We would welcome any feedback on this site or on our resources.
There are several people involved in training and developing in ABC Creative Music, and we have different approaches and styles so we generally let you know who is answering each question.
You will find support material in the form of text, examples from packs, audio tutorials. and video clips.
